ZoomInfo has released a plug-in that finds active business contacts in users’ email messages and automatically uploads the information to the ZoomInfo B2B directory. Users who install the plug-in receive free access to the ZoomInfo B2B Database. According the company, the Community Edition improves the “contacts for content” market by simplifying the contact-sharing process; rather than manually inputting business contacts, the plug-in automatically adds them to the database.
ZoomInfo’s goal is to increase commerce efficiency by providing an accurate, updated database of B2B contacts. The company uses verification processes for all newly contributed data, and alerts business people before publishing their online profiles.
