Oman Mobile’s picture messaging services or MMS is a form of communication, designed to make it easier for individuals to stay in touch. It enables Oman’s customers to send digital postcards directly or share them on TV and online by participating in the ‘Rathath’, Postcards From Salalah promotion.
The promotion, done in close cooperation with the special Khareef Salalah TV program Rathath triggers Oman Mobile customers to send their special greetings by picture messaging (MMS) to a dedicated number 90014. These picture messages (MMS) are charged at normal price of 45Bz per MMS. All suitable pictures submitted are posted on the Oman Mobile Web site and a specialist jury of the Rathath program chooses the best pictures each week. The best pictures sent by Oman Mobile customers will debut on TV. The promotion will run throughout the whole period of the Khareef Festival until August 31, 2005 and is open for both Mada (post paid) and Hayyak (prepaid) Oman Mobile customers.
