Meta launched the Stars store where fans can buy “stars” to tip their favorite creators on Facebook. The Stars plan lets creators avoid the commission taken by app stores when fans make in-app purchases there. Bonus Stars are being given in December to entice fans to use the store. (Tech Crunch)
