The Authors Guild, American Booksellers Association, and Open Markets Institute call on the FTC to look into Amazon’s “monopoly as a seller of books to the public. It cites data that indicates Amazon sells over 50% of physical books in the retail market, 90% of physical books sold online, and 80% of ebooks.
